Event Details

No experience is necessary—ceilidhs are designed for everyone to take part, from experienced dancers to complete beginners and even those with two left feet! The caller, Kat Bond, will walk you through the moves before each dance, ensuring smooth and enjoyable participation for all ages and abilities.
This event is a fantastic opportunity to meet new people, build community, and have an evening of active fun and socialising, all while supporting the Presbyterian Church.

Our first event in 2026 will be a ceilidh jointly with Monty Folk for 12th Night in Llandinam on 10 January.
Dance away the night with great tunes and feelgood dances all called so anyone can join in the fun!

12th Night ceilidh with Ffonic and Monty Folk 2025
Saturday January 4th 2025 20.00 A great night out for all - with music from Ffonic and expert calling by Kat Bond. Suitable for experienced dancers and complete beginners. Come along with friends, family or on your own to join the fun at this sociable event. Tickets are just £8 in advance and include entrance fee and nibbles.
UPDATE: The Twelfth Night (ish) Ceilidh event will be going ahead as planned at Montgomery Town Hall this evening.
If you are based near to the venue, or can get there (and back) comfortably and safely, we would love to see you this evening. Pop on your winter coats and boots, stick your comfy (or fancy!) dancing shoes in your bag, and join us for some music, dancing (keeps you warm!) and fun at the Town Hall. The bar will be open for drinks. (Feel free to bring snacks.)
For those further afield, or with mobility issues, we are aware of an increased weather warning to an Amber alert for snow and ice, and travel advice from Dyfed-Powys police for only necessary journeys if there is snow and ice. We have been keeping an eye on the forecast, and it looks like snow/sleet this evening is likely to begin before/during the event, and affect journeys home.
If you decide not to attend after considering the weather warnings and travel advice, we would be happy to issue refunds on request. (Alternatively, you may wish to donate your ticket price to the event. Profit from the event will be split between TASC and Médecins Sans Frontières.) Just let us know
